Since its inception, the Ivy Foundation of Northern Virginia (IFNV) has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for residents in the region. The foundation has spearheaded numerous initiatives in education, health, and social welfare, including providing scholarships to deserving students and supporting local schools and educational programs. In the healthcare arena, IFNV has partnered with community organizations to increase access to quality healthcare for underserved populations. Additionally, IFNV has worked to provide assistance to families and individuals in need, including unhoused and low-income families, through various outreach programs. With a team of dedicated volunteers and community partners, IFNV remains committed to making a positive impact in the Northern Virginia community.

Mission

The Ivy Foundation of Northern Virginia, Inc.’s mission is to promote the well-being and betterment of mankind, and particularly to sponsor programs that address the needs of the community, with special emphasis on programs for families, cultural activities, and programs and services for youth, elderly, and disadvantaged persons to enhance their quality of life. Based on our mission, the IFNV strives to enhance the quality of life for the community that we serve by:

How We’re Funded

Money for our scholarships and operations comes from a diverse array of private and public sources including Zeta Chi Omega chapter members, community donations, non-profit partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraisers.
